Give your old bike a new lease of life and help keep Maastricht accessible

Here’s how it works: pick up a label from the reception desk at any of the faculties of Maastricht University or Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. Attach the label to your bike and drop it off at a collection point. No time or no transport? Fietsbank Maastricht can also collect bikes from your home.

Bikes handed in are given a new lease of life via the Fietsbank or Ambachtscentrum Fiets. Parts are reused and refurbished bikes go to people who can really use them. That’s not only sustainable, but also socially beneficial.

By removing broken-down bikes from the streets, bike racks and parking facilities remain more accessible and we keep pavements clear and safe. In this way, we work together to make room for bikes that do work, and Maastricht remains pleasant and accessible for everyone.
