Parking a coach in Maastricht

Are you the driver of a tour bus heading to Maastricht? Then make use of the overview where you can let your passengers get on and off in the city center before parking your tour bus on the outskirts of the city.

Boarding and alighting locations

Maastricht is easily accessible for coaches. There is a special boarding and alighting coach stop in the city centre on the Maasboulevard and Frontensingel. Coaches are permitted to wait here for 30 minutes while setting down or picking up passengers. Only passengers are allowed to board and disembark at regular bus stops. These stops may not be used for more than five minutes, provided that there are no delays or problems with regular public transport. 
The regulations for coaches apply to all vehicles that can carry more than 8 passengers.

     *On Wednesdays and Fridays, parking spaces on Frontensingel are reserved for permit holders only.

Parking spaces for coaches

Regular Location at De Geusselt

After passengers have been dropped off, the coach can be parked at the designated parking area located outside the city centre near De Geusselt Stadium (Stadionplein De Geusselt, 6225 XW). There are also catering facilities nearby.
Parking here is free of charge and unattended. GPS: 50.856652, 5.715921.

Parking for international coaches

  • The buses on national and international routes stop is at Meerssenerweg at the former ProRail shunting yard.

    The coach stop for (international) long distance coaches on Meerssenerweg is located next to a residential area. The staging point is no coach parking space. To prevent nuisance, we kindly request that your are considerate of the residents and that you follow these rules of conduct.

    • Switch off the engine
    • Try to keep noise to a minimum
    • Use the bathroom facilities in the station
    • Do not stop in the driving lane of block off the car park
    • KLM bus towards Amsterdam Schiphol.
    • There are international connections by IC and Flixbus to various locations in Europe from and to Maastricht.
      • Flixbusses towards Amsterdam, Brussels, Dortmund, London, Paris, Luxembourg, Prague, Berlin, Warsaw, Sarajevo and Bucharest, among others.
      • IC busses towards Luik and Düsseldorf.
