- On weekends, visit during the morning hours. Alternatively, opt for the weekdays. Mondays through Thursdays are less crowded in the city. Wednesday and Friday are market days.
- Go exploring in side streets that are sure to wow in Wyck, the Jekerkwartier, Stokstraatkwartier or the trendy Sphinxkwartier neighbourhoods.
- Park on the edge of the city for a fixed daily rate of €12 at a P+W car park near the Frontenpark, Stadspark or P Bonnefanten. This means your vehicle will be parked at a maximum walking distance of 10-15 minutes from the city centre and you will be able to enjoy all the beautiful things that Maastricht has to offer on the way.
