Parking facilities

Maastricht has about 7.000 parking spaces at its disposal. You can choose the parking space that fits best your kind of visit to Maastricht. Parking at the outer part of Maastricht is always cheaper than parking in the city centre. You can also combine the advantages of travelling by car with the advantages of public transport and the bicycle. 

General parking tips 

• The multistoreys closer to the city centre tend to fill up earlier (especially on weekends). Parking on the outskirts of the city, or choosing a parking location along your route to Maastricht, is usually quicker and cheaper. 
  • At P+R Maastricht Noord, you can park your car for free and continue your journey on a low-cost bus ticket. At the Park+Walk locations, you can park for a fixed daily rate and walk to the city centre within ten minutes. 
• If you want to be sure of a spot, you can book your parking space at many multistoreys. 
• Lock your car and take all valuable items with you. Do not just hide them out of sight. A few extra seconds of vigilance can prevent a lot of trouble.
