Free parking at P+R Noord

    • At P+R Maastricht Noord you can park for free. There are 516 parking spaces available including disabled parking and charging stations for electric cars. The map with all the parking spaces shows you how many spaces are free.
You cannot reserve a parking space.
    • You can leave your car at P+R Noord for longer if you're staying in the city for a few days. That's fine, but don't park there for weeks on end. This keeps the car park available for everyone, whether you're in Maastricht for the day or travelling to work every day.
    • You can enter the P+R area from Hoekerweg. There is no maximum headway or barrier. There are cameras at the bus stop and the station, but there is no camera surveillance at the car park. Lock your car and take all valuable items with you. Do not just hide them out of sight. A few extra seconds of vigilance can prevent a lot of trouble.
    • From P+R Noord, Arriva bus lines 3, 10, and 30 take you to the city center and back every fifteen or thirty minutes for only €2.55 per person. A group return ticket for 3 to 5 people costs €6.40 — one ticket is valid for all 3 to 5 passengers. A monthly subscription costs €32.05 per month.
    • A maximum of two children aged 4 to 11 travel for free after 9:00 AM per paid ticket.
    • The P+R Maastricht Noord ticket is a single ticket that can be used on the same day on both bus line 3, 10 and bus line 30.

Easy, quick and cheap for a day out in Maastricht or to go to work. If you travel more often via P+R Maastricht Noord, it is cheaper to take out a monthly ticket.

  • If the buses are no longer running, you can use the same ticket to take the Arriva train from the central station to Maastricht North station.

  • Travelling from P+R Maastricht Noord is easy: parking is free, and you check in and out with your bank card or OV-chipkaart. This means you automatically pay the discounted P+R rate of €1.28 per journey.

Please note: you must check in and out at P+R Maastricht Noord itself. If you check in at P+R Maastricht Noord and check out at Mosae Forum, Forum MECC or the Heer stop, you pay €1.28. The same applies the other way round. If you check in at the Markt/Boschstraat stop and check out at Fr. Romanusweg, you pay the standard public transport fare.

Prefer a single paper ticket? You can still buy one at the ticket machine on the car park. This machine is only located at P+R Maastricht Noord, not in the city itself. At the machine you can also buy a ticket for a future date, or a group return ticket for 3 to 5 people for €6.40. This isn't possible with OVpay: you check in and out per journey, and you can't buy a ticket in advance or for a group.

Do you travel via P+R Maastricht Noord regularly? Then a monthly pass is more cost-effective (see further down this page).
