Teaching international students how to ride their bikes
Every semester, hundreds of exchange students choose Maastricht as their temporary home. But a new city also means new mobility rules. With #posifiets, together with our partners, we ensure that these students hit the road as well-informed as possible.
During the Exchange Students Information Market at the School of Business and Economics on Tongersestraat, we brought them up to speed on key cycling etiquette, with a specific focus on parking bikes correctly.
We also attended the Swapfiets Top Days, where students picked up their rental bikes. While Swapfiets took care of technical and contractual matters, we informed students about responsible bicycle use. By working together with partners such as Swapfiets, Maastricht University and the City of Maastricht, we encourage sustainable and efficient bicycle use in the city.
