Cycling with Carnival? Store it smart!
Do you take your bike to quickly hop from parade to parade? Smart! But make sure you park your bike properly, so you don't cause a nuisance.
Attention: bike racks closed!
From Sunday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 4, the covered bike racks at Kesselskade, Vrijthof and Markt are closed due to carnival activities. From Wednesday, March 5 they will be open again.
Where can you park your bike?
- In the designated spaces and/or racks.
- In the covered bicycle shed at Maastricht station (with supervision).
- The scooter parking at the station will also remain open
Extra, temporary racks:
- Square in front of Mosae Forum
- Pierre Kemppark (at the entrance to the OLV square parking lot, near the elevator)
Important changes
Starting Tuesday, February 25, the bicycle racks will be removed at the locations listed below, and a bicycle parking ban will be in effect until Wednesday, March 5. Please remove your bicycle in time!
- Vrijthof (east and north);
- Leliestraat;
- Sporenstraat;
- Onze Lieve Vrouweplein (next to the OLV church).
Removed bicycles can be collected at St. Gerardusweg 39. Opening hours: Monday 9 AM - 5 PM (except for Carnival Monday, March 3).
