Parking at the P+R at Maastricht's main railway station
Several trains depart northbound (Sittard/Eindhoven/Amsterdam), southbound (Eijsden/Liège), and eastbound (Valkenburg/Heerlen/Aachen) from Maastricht. If you travel by train from Maastricht every day, remember that you can park your car at the adjacent P+R location on Parallelweg at a reduced rate.
Reduced parking rates if you travel by train
Train passengers travelling with a public transport pass (‘OV-chipkaart’) or an NS Business Card can enjoy reduced parking rates capped at €5 per day. The regular daily rate is €14 per day. There are 340 parking spaces, and the P+R is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you cycle to the main railway station, you can park your bicycle in the station's underground parking facility. This is a sheltered and guarded facility, and you can park for free for the first 24 hours. To park your bicycle, you need an ‘OV-chipkaart’. If you don't have one, you can borrow a temporary pass.
