Return to regular specific times for loading and unloading goods in Maastricht's city centre
Temporary suspension of specific times for loading and unloading goods
At the end of March, the Municipality of Maastricht decided to temporarily suspend specific times for loading and unloading goods. The municipality took this decision because of the coronavirus measures that were in force, and to offer some support to local companies and organizations.
Return to regular specific times for loading and unloading goods
Following the announcement that the coronavirus measures will be relaxed further, the municipality decided to reinstate the specific times for loading and unloading goods as more shops are reopening. As of 1 June, restaurants, cafés, and café terraces can reopen under strict conditions.
The following instructions continue to apply if you visit the city centre:
make sure to give other people enough space;
keep 1.5 metres apart from each other;
avoid busy areas.
Working together is the only way to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
