Participate in the ‘Discover the e-bike’ campaign

The bicycle is and remains a sustainable choice. Cycling is an especially healthy and safe way of getting from A to B in the current circumstances. Many people are now cycling short distances and using e-bikes for longer journeys. If you would like to try out an e-bike, we will have our trial bikes ready for you – free of charge – in Maastricht's Heer neighbourhood on 26 May. Remember to make a reservation, because the number of bicycles is limited.

Safe mobility

For our health and the health of others, we are spending a lot of time at home. But the number of vehicles on the roads is increasing, and more and more shops are opening up again. Primary schools will open their doors once more on Monday 11 May. That's why Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar is helping to ensure safe mobility for all. Making e-bikes and high-speed e-bikes available is part of that effort.

How does it work?

Visit ontdekdeebike.nl and select the bicycle that suits you best. To ensure that people can maintain sufficient distance on 26 May, we will make use of a number of time slots. This means that you must select the time slot before you collect your bicycle. If someone has already reserved your preferred bicycle, then try again in another time slot.

26 May in the Heer neighbourhood

The reserved bicycle will be ready for you to collect in your agreed time slot. You will receive instructions on how to use the bicycle, and the bicycle will be cleaned for you. You will then be ready to discover the e-bike!
