The no.100 bus will become no.10 from December
On 11 December 2016 Arriva will take over the public transport services in Limburg currently being operated by Veolia. This includes the operation of the no.100 shuttle bus which runs from P+R Maastricht Noord to Maastricht city centre and back. What do these changes mean for you?
The bus will continue to operate four times an hour. There will be more stops in Maastricht added to the route. The ticket price will continue to better that of regular public transport fares throughout the whole of 2017.
Please note the new bus number
The bus will change its route number from 100 to 10. The new no.10 bus will also continue onwards through to Maastricht Randwyck and Gulpen. It will then also be possible to board and alight at more locations in and around the city. The well-known red bus will no longer be visible on the city streets, its replacement being the Arriva buses. After 11 December 2016 make sure that if you are travelling back to P+R Maastricht Noord from the city centre, catch the no.10 bus!
The price of the P+R ticket will be €2 per person for a day return ticket. Children (up to and including 11 years of age) can travel free, with a maximum of two children per paying adult. The cost of a monthly pass remains €20 per month, making it more cost effective for those who use the P+R more frequently.
As a welcome offer from Arriva, travellers visiting Magisch Maastricht during 11 December 2016 – 1 January 2017 will only pay €1 per person for a day return ticket.
