Maastricht Bereikbaar informs citizens of closures and detours in and around the Maastricht area, and runs regular interesting travel promotions for visitors, commuters, and residents. A2 Maastricht and Mijn Groene Loper project information
Since the opening of the Koning Willem-Alexander tunnel, A2 Maastricht has kept road users and local residents informed via www.a2maastricht.nl and www.mijngroeneloper.nl of the complete deconstruction of the road system and its reconstruction underground. The Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management as road authority
The Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat) is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Koning Willem-Alexander tunnel and the national motorways to and from the tunnel (the A2 and A79). Road users with questions or reports (e.g. regarding the new signs or the tunnel itself) are encouraged to contact the Directorate-General by calling 0800-8002 or visiting www.vananaarbeter.nl.
