Arriva introduces new bicycle-sharing scheme to replace Nextbike
Three years after becoming a mainstay in Maastricht, the Nextbike shared bicycles will be removed starting 31 July 2020. At the end of summer 2020, Arriva will introduce its own bicycle-sharing scheme in Maastricht.
Nextbike in Maastricht to end
You can use the Nextbike bicycles with the pay-as-you-go option until 31 July. It costs €1.50 per 30 minutes. The bicycles can be found at eleven locations in Maastricht, including three stations (Maastricht's main railway station, Maastricht Randwyck, and Maastricht-Noord) as well as locations at Mosae Forum and Avenue Céramique. As of 1 July, Arriva has no longer offered the options to purchase new subscriptions or extend existing ones.
