- You can find a plethora of possibilities for exploring the region by bicycle at the VVV South Limburg website. In addition you can also find great cycling packages.
- The Fietsersbond Maastricht has various cycling routes from Maastricht.
- Avid cyclists can cycle the famous 125km long Mergellandroute. The most beautiful and well signposted cycling route in the Netherlands, which starts at Maastricht central station.
- Cycling fans can use Maastricht as a base for climbing the kilometres in the Heuvelland and the Voerstreek (border region). The Cauberg is (for experienced cyclists) just 15 minutes from Maastricht. You can find more information and a large number of cycle routes at www.wielrennenmaastricht.nl.
