Vebego Limburgs Mooiste ZUID

Vebego Limburgs Mooiste ZUID

On June 2 and 3, the Vebego Limburgs Mooiste ZUID cycling event will take place where cycling enthusiasts of all ages can cycle a variety of routes along roads in South Limburg and neighboring areas in Belgium and Germany.

Route

There are different distances for the race (70 - 230 km), MTB route (55 - 110 km) and a family tour. Each route has its different start times.
Address start and finish location: Coriopolis terrain Nieuw Eyckholt, Heerlen.

The routes go through different municipalities in the Netherlands as well as Aachen (Germany) and Belgian municipalities.
The Dutch municipalities are: Beek, Beekdaelen, Eijsden-Margraten, Gulpen-Wittem, Heerlen, Maastricht, Meerssen, Simpelveld, Sittard-Geleen, Stein, Vaals, Valkenburg and Voerendaal.

As a resident, would you like to know through which street and at what times cyclists pass through your municipality? The organization of Vebego Limburgs Mooiste ZUID has created an overview document.

Travel and parking tips for the start and finish location in Heerlen

By bicycle

As a cycling event, the venue is of course easily accessible by bicycle. This is even possible with Velocity's shared bikes from other sub-stations in Parkstad; there is also a shared bike station at Nieuw Eyckholt.
Both on Friday and Saturday there is a free guarded bicycle parking area at the event site (also start and finish location).

By public transport

Want to encourage participants? You can take the train to Heerlen central station and from there there are several buses going to Nieuw Eyckholt.

By car

There are plenty of (free) parking facilities available in Heerlen. All parking zones are within 1.5 km of the start and finish location.
