Maastricht's road infrastructure has changed a lot recently. The final infrastructure for the new Noorderbrug route is taking shape quickly. However, as part of implementing the project, there will be two last major projects that may disrupt traffic in Maastricht-West this autumn. Rijkswaterstaat – the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management – will also be working on the motorway. Here is some information on what's to come.
Maastricht's infrastructure has changed a lot recently. There are lots of changes for moped users, cyclists, and pedestrians as well. Noorderbrug's cycle path and footpath have recently been reopened, and Maastricht-Oost's Groene Loper now offers a lot of space for slow-moving traffic. Below is some more information on the routes. We hope this will be useful for when you get back from your summer holiday and start cycling to school or work again.

In a nutshell, this means fewer cars and more journeys by bicycle or public transport – which means fewer CO2 emissions and more people exercising. But what exactly is the employer approach? Mobility agent Rob Schaap tells us more.
What a fantastic summer we've had for cycling! The weather was ideal for discovering Maastricht or commuting on your e-bike. So why not try an Arriva Nextbike, e-bike, or speed bike soon? It’ll cost you nothing – apart from some extra exercise. You could say it's a win-win.
